Wii

Filed under: Food, Home, personal — tikimama @ 9:01 pm

This sounds lame, but I am trying to play our Wii more. I think it is more fun for Craig and I to play it than watch more tv. We rented Wii Play (awesome) and the screen cracked me up:

Pure Cane Sugar on Wii

That’s Budgie’s Mii in the background. Yes, we made a Mii for the dog. Haven’t you?

The weather is slow, slowy turning to real spring. We celebrated by cracking out the old Weber and cramming as much food as we could on it:

Webers Rule!

That’s mushrooms, zuccini, asparagus, crookneck squash and italian sausage. Yum. Craig made it all, I just came home (late) from work to eat it. He also did laundry, scrubbed the kitchen floor and paid bills. If you can possibly acquire a husband like him, I highly recommend it, because he’s simply wonderful. Get your own, though, this one is totally taken.

No Energy Drink Needed

Filed under: Home, personal — tikimama @ 9:18 pm

Sometimes I even exhaust myself with my relentless energy. Here is today’s schedule for Craig and I:

6am get up to let whining dog out
8am get up to let whining cat out
9am get up to pee, realize am totally hungover from BSG fest night before

(Saturday: 9:30am, drive to Seattle, 1-5:30 discuss Intellectual Freedom in Libraries, 5:30-800 drive back to Portland, eat dinner, drink 4 giant cocktails, watch S3 BSG with Craig and B & N until 1am)

11-1:30 brunch with friends
1:30-3 wander around Portland Nursery, buy lots of plants, including pansies!
3-4:30 stop at grocery store, get groceries and garden stuff
4:30-7 plants 10 pansies, alstromeria, Craig plants bulbs and fills in giant hole in yard
7-8 *CENSORED*
8 shower, snack for dinner

This is where an normal person should stop. Plenty of stuff done, good stopping point. Craig, a normal person, retires.

Since I am insane, I decide that what I really need to do is bake chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter muffins (for tomorrow at work, it’s the first day of school).

I am tired. I am sitting now. Whew.
